The league has released a draft guide to help GMs get a feel for the fictional players who will be available to pick along with the players like Shane Wright and Juraj Slafkovsky, who were picked in the last NHL draft.

Commissioner Chuck lost the work he did on it originally and then sort of rushed through it more than usual. Unfortunately, the guy made some mistakes you should know about:

• Czech forward Gabriel Szturc will be drafted in the real NHL this June, so I would like to retire the one I created; the one with attributes. If you want to draft him, draft the prospect version. If someone picks the made-up one, I will sub in the prospects version.
• I mixed up the Discipline and Intensity columns on a few players. I will have to edit their attributes after the draft. Andrei Buyalsky, Eric Ciccolini and Nicolas Perrenoud are among those who will become more disciplined and less of a hitter. There will be a couple more near the bottom of the list. The OV and PO ratings will not change.
• Goalie Carter Gylander will have the wrong height and weight. He should be 6’5″, 185.
• Eric Ciccolini is a Canadian. I made him an American by accident.
• David Moravek will become David Moravec after the draft.

As usual, a few prospects are sprinkled into the guide near the top for comparison purposes, but none were added after Logan Cooley.
