A brief wrap-up tonight.

Eleven teams had two picks today, Paris had one and the other 12 teams could only watch. Some might have also caught some of that secondary draft that was going on in Pittsburgh.

The draft is to the point where most teams have their top two forward lines and top two defense pairings settled. Some teams are filling in the cracks, others drafting for the far-off future.

Of the teams that picked twice:

5 chose a forward and defensemen

Moscow took Handzus and Bourdon; Dublin took Galiardi and Harrison; London took Scandella and Raymond; Gothenburg took Backlund and Martinez and Stockholm took Caron and Demers.

2 picked two forwards

Copenhagen took Coyle and Taylor Pyatt;  and Berlin took Bonino and Thompson

2 picked a goalie and forward

Prague took Bobrovsky and Hannan; and Zurich took Garon and Tyrell

1 picked a goalie and defenseman

Helsinki took Steve Mason and Abdelkader

and 1 picked two defensemen

Athens took McQuaid and Sulzer

Paris had one selection and picked Derek Brassard.
