Rose: OK, we need to talk about All-Star Weekend. We are almost all set to go with the Skills Competition and the game itself, but I have a concern about the GM Swimsuit Competition. Mikko Mantykoski won it easily last year and he looks even sexier now. I just think people will get bored if he wins it every year. Do you agree, Sepp?
Blatter: I’m sorry, I didn’t hear what you said. I’m on a phone call with Jukka regarding a project we have been working on.
Ott: Helsinki is doing great this season.
Blatter: Thank you.
Massaro: Maybe we can replace the swimsuit competition with another event. Perhaps a book reading. Maybe lunch. How would that be?
Rose: Really? Do you understand the concept of entertainment? It has to be something people would actually enjoy watching.
Ott: How about a sock puppet show competition? I find that sock puppet shows can really illicit people’s emotions, especially if you can move them from fear to empathy to a satisfying ending, as I did in “Searching for Vasilevskiy” in Season 13.
Rose: I remember that show. I didn’t cry but my date that night did.
Massaro: Who was your date:?
Rose: That’s kind of personal.
Rose again: It was Dennis Sullo. He cries easily. Just last night he was watching “Landman” and the tears were really flowing.
Massaro: How do you know that?
Rose: I just know. How would such a competition work, Peter?
Ott: Traditionally, in sock puppet show competitions, each person puts on a 3- to 5-minute show and we all vote to decide the best.
Massaro: That idea sounds like the best this group of people could possibly come up with. Shall we vote?
Voting in favor of the resolution: Rose, Ott, Massaro. Blatter abstained while shopping online. Measure passes.
