To find out who the fastest skater, hardest shooter and most accurate marksman in the league are, you first have to figure out the top skills competitors on each team.

That has been done. In Helsinki, the competition was so intense, a fight broke out involving longtime teammates Brendan Gallagher and Brock Boeser. In Berlin, only about a third of the team showed up in time for the contests.

This season, the EURO will try a twist by inviting three free agents to compete. Linus Klasen (formerly of Gothenburg and Hanover) will skate in the Fastest Skater event; Mathis Olimb (Milan and Minsk) will give it a go in the Hardest Shot; and Max Pacioretty (Frankfurt/Lisbon, Moscow/Hanover and Gothenburg) will try to be the Most Accurate Shooter.

The chart below shows the competitors for the event. Their Websim ratings for Fastest; Hardest Shot; and Most Accurate (SP; ST+SH; and FI+PA+SH) are in the column next to their name. A random number will fill the next column and the total of the two columns divided by 2 will appear in the third column to result in their final scores. Ties will be broken by the commissioner in another random draw.
