Lots of holdouts early in EURO free agency

Copenhagen General Manager Martin Sayle is one of many team officials who had to suppress swear words today. Some might have let them slip out.

Johnny Gaudreau and Marko Dano, two key cogs (both 82 OV ratings) in the Tridents machine, declined Sayle’s offers, it was announced today, and now to retain them Sayle will have to up the ante and possibly risk the dreaded WSH arbitration rulings.

  • Matt Duchene, Belfast, 91 OV rating
  • Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Belfast, 87 OV
  • Olli Maatta, Stockholm, 86 OV
