Pominville closest, but no one added to Hall of Fame

General Managers almost put Jason Pominville into the Hall of Fame, but the Canadian winger who played a season for Prague and then seven with Athens did not get the required 8.1 average for entry.

Pominville scored 584 points in his 635-game EURO career and is currently 46th all-time in scoring.

Here is how the voting ended up for the most recent Hall of Fame candidates:

  • Jason Pominville, 7.8
  • Roberto Luongo, 6.8
  • Mikko Koivu, 6.4
  • Patrick Marleau, 6.4
  • Jason Garrison, 6.4
  • Jaroslav Halak, 6.4
  • Nicklas Kronwall, 6.0
  • Henrik Sedin, 5.8
  • Matt Moulson, 5.8
