Coming Soon in the EURO League

  1. Investments: We will advance to the next step Friday night or when the checkboxes are 24/24. If you need more time, please let me know.
  2. Team Profiles: I plan to continue my tradition of writing team profiles and am hoping to post two per day in no particular order. I could post the first one Friday or Saturday. As always, I hope I don’t insult anyone with anything I write. If I do, it’s most likely an accident, so please consider forgiving me. Except for Erik Forssell comments. Those are intended.
  3. Free agent signings: Once the button to process free agent signings becomes available I will try to push it at 8 a.m. ET every morning. If it is available Sunday morning, that will be the first one. Expect signings to occur every morning after that for the rest of the year.
  4. Waivers: I can never get this right but Bryan Camara seems to have this process down. If you have time to reply to this and explain it, Bryan, we would love you even more than we already do.
  5. Bern HELMUniforms: For you GMs who are new to the league, I often highlight big moments in games or players by posting a “photo” of the back of their EURO team jersey with their name and number on the back. Where do their jerseys come from, you might ask? I guess I “design” them myself. This year, I want to try something different. You will have a chance to design your own uniforms. I won’t be able to get to these until I am finished with the team profiles, but here’s the crazy procedure I have come up with: Go to cmcmcmcm.jimdo.com, look over the options and submit your design preferences to me on the “Last Step” link. I bought a template from Yellow Images that I am using on my Mac program called Pixelmator. I am not fast on it yet, but I will get it down after a few uniforms. Like I said, I probably won’t get to this for a couple weeks, but I will get to them.
  6. Hall of Fame voting: We will be voting on potential inductees to the hall of fame. I think the class isn’t strong enough to get anyone voted in, but I will send you all a simple to use survey sometime between the beginning of the season and the 60 or 70 game mark.
  7. The World Cup: Once the season gets under way, we will have front row tickets to the World Cup Tournament, a Paja Production, in cooperation with EA Sports Productions and SONY Entertainment. The tournament has its own website, for crying out loud!
  8. The All-Star Game: About 25 games in, we will vote on a city to host the game and then with about 33 games gone, you will get ballots to vote for the members of the Northern and Southern Conference All-Star Teams
  9. Rose’s birthday is June 22. Her favorite color is red and she likes wearing dresses (size 2x)
